Original works by artist Lee Teter have been displayed at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas, as part of the museum's Collector's Classic Show and Sale. The Museum of Western Art was originally founded to house works by the Cowboy Artists of America (CAA).
At the Sale Collectors are encouraged to vote for their favorite artist from the many artists whose works are exhibited . Here, Teter's paintings and drawings were selected for "People's Choice" from nearly 250 artworks. Lee Teter also created a painting titled"Reflections," the famed painting of the Vietnam Memorial. It has sold more than 200,000 copies since its completion in 1988. Many of his other works portray the Eastern American frontier and historical fur traders of the Rocky Mountains. |
