Hope Morrow Glidden was born in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up in Milford, She began her art career doing cartooning and would study under the "Famous Artist of Westport, Connecticut". She later would continue her cartooning in California where she was introduced into fine arts and started painting in oils. Upon her return to Connecticut in the 80's she studied under master artist Frank Covino in Waitsfield, Vermont. During her time with Covino she worked on her color and technique and learned to paint in the fashion of the Masters. Hope lives Summitt, NY with her husband Dexter.
