Hope Morrow Glidden was born and raised in Connecticut. She began her art career doing cartooning and would study under the "Famous Artist of Westport, Connecticut." She later continued cartooning in California where she was introduced to fine arts and started painting in oils. Upon her return to Connecticut in the 80's she studied under master artist Frank Covino in Waitsfield, Vermont. During her time with Covino she worked on her color and technique and learned to paint in the fashion of the Masters. Hope lives Summit, New York with her husband Dexter.
